Ok.  Let's be honest--a common comment about sulphur springs is they smell like rotten eggs.  However, the reality is many people actually think the smell of sulphur water is not nearly as pungent and has a rather pleasant fragrance.

Regardless, any brief unpleasantness quickly disappears after a few minutes.

Popular since ancient times, and found throughout the United States and the world, natural sulphur springs have been the basis of a number of famous spas -- one of the most famous being the Greenbrier

Having experienced the springs ourselves (remember, we picked this place and wouldn't let our friends and family stay anywhere we didn't love), we urge you to ignore your nose and plunge in.  The treat of a natural sulphur spa is credited with providing healing to mind, body, and spirit.  Surrounded and bathed by nature eases away stress and tension -- causing many of these springs around the world to be referred to by their ancient bathers as fountains of youth.
