Here's what you need to know about what to wear for the the Welcome Dinner and Wedding and a short list of things to remember to help make your trip enjoyable and relaxing.
What to wear:
The Welcome Dinner: Cocktail casual
The Wedding and Reception: Cocktail
The Recovery Brunch: Whatever you wake up in
Suggestions on Packing:
- Shoes: This is the big one. Italy likes cobblestones. A lot. Both the Welcome Dinner and the Wedding and Reception require crossing uneven ground that my be difficult to navigate with narrow heels. Jennifer suggests that female guests take that in account and avoid very high heels that may get caught between the stones.
- The evenings may be a touch cool. Women may be more comfortable if they have a scarf or wrap.
- The hotel has four pools -- so don'tf orget your bathing suit!
While only an hour and a half from the Amalfi Coast, Santomenna is located in the mountains of Campagna.
Given the relative remoteness of the location there are only a few hotels to choose from. We have painstakingly visited each of them and have chosen the finest one.
We have already booked the entire hotel so that everyone, for the convenience and pleasure of our guests, can stay together.
Your RSVP will book your room.
The hotel is drop dead beautiful and is located on a natural sulfur spring favored by the ancient Romans who visited the area. Click here for what this means.
The Wedding
Santomenna, Italy is in the Campagna Region of the country. The closest international airport is Naples (approximately 2 hours away). The second closest is Rome (a lovely 4 hour drive or train ride).
