Q: What's the weather like in Santomenna and southern Italy in August?
A: Even though it's August, the weather in Santomenna is very temperate -- warm, but not hot during the day and cool, but not cold at night. Jennifer thinks ladies may prefer a wrap after sunset, but gentlemen will be more than comfortable in a suit jacket. In contrast, the Amalfi Coast has a climate similar to the Florida coast in August -- hot during the day and warm at night.

The Hotel
While only an hour and a half from the Amalfi Coast, Santomenna is located in the mountains of Campagna.
Given the relative remoteness of the location there are only a few hotels to choose from. We have painstakingly visited each of them and have chosen the finest one.
We have already booked the entire hotel so that everyone, for the convenience and pleasure of our guests, can stay together.

The hotel is drop dead beautiful and is located on a natural sulfur spring favored by the ancient Romans who visited the area. Click here for what this means.

Santomenna, Italy is in the Campagna Region of the country. The closest international airport is Naples (approximately 2 hours away). The second closest is Rome (a lovely 4 hour drive or train ride).
Transfers to and from the Naples airport will be provided. Guests making their own arrangements are asked to arrive at the hotel by 2:00pm on Friday, 6 August so that you can join us for the Welcome Dinner at 6pm. The wedding will take place in the early evening of Saturday, 7 August. A Recovery Brunch will be held at the hotel the next day.
